Clearing up Confusion about the Federal Vision

I don't know about you, but I find the Federal Vision controversy in Reformed circles to be terribly confusing sometimes. So I've put together this little visual aid to help clear up confusion.

Here's Federal Vision...

And here's a Federalist Vision...

Clear now? Good. Glad I could clear things up. You're welcome.

Once again, this proves, that by following your sage advice, your insights into culture, your clarity of expertise, I have been blessed, made more knowledge, had confusion cleared up and have grown in esteem among my peers by following your blog work. I've read dozens of books, 100s of blogs and now, here you are, in two simple photos, clarifying a divisive issue to a T. Thank you, brother.

Now if you could just help clear up anti-Federal Vision and anti-Federalist Vision for me.

Hilarious.

I take it you're not a fan of the FV?

Just curious, what's your main beef with the FV? After all, it is a diverse movement. Peter Leithart is not Doug Wilson. Do you think Wilson's views are heretical?

The Brooks,

Not sure how you surmised all of that from two pictures. You might be missing the joke. My suggestion would be to laugh and have a good day.

so, Federal Vision guys wear shrouds with shawls, have beards, are balding, and raise their hands. Federalists wear suits with fluffy shirts, have wild hair (a la Einstein), are balding, and keep their eyes open.

What about us non-balding guys with bowties?
